Spring is here, and we know what that means – the days are longer, and the weather is (supposedly!) better. It also means there’s more pollen in the air and all hayfever sufferers know what that means. Some of the signs and symptoms of allergies and hayfever are: clear runny nose, sneezing, itchy eyes and itchy throat. Thankfully, there are a few things in your Pharmacy’s war-chest that can tackle these annoying symptoms.
First and foremost are your nasal sprays like Flixonase. These sprays are the benchmark for preventing symptoms from even occurring – but the key with these type of treatments is twofold: First you gotta use them regularly – every day throughout the Spring and Summer seasons – and you need to START NOW, before your symptoms start kicking in. Second: you gotta use the nasal sprays properly. Luckily for you, Andy and the team have the nasal spray technique down pat – so pop in to Roslyn Pharmacy for the lowdown on the proper use of these sprays. Other treatments like anti-histamine tablets are available too – again pop in to Dunedin’s Friendliest Pharmacy to discuss the best treatments for the season.
One last thing I want to mention this month – I’ve been getting into some running lately. So I did a bit of research online to buy some ‘mean-as’ running shoes that I thought were the best for me, I then popped in to where I could get them for the cheapest price, grabbed them off the shelf (no-one helped me) and they turned out to be the WORST possible running shoes for me – and I picked up an injury after a few runs. My point in telling you guys this is sometimes it’s tempting to find the cheapest option or do research yourself and read so-called expert blogs that have no knowledge of your own story and take no accountability for the advice they give. At Roslyn Pharmacy, health professionals give expert advice on your health. We take accountability for the advice and service we give you. Our reputation is built on this. Your health is the number 1 investment you can make. Do not discount on this – see the health experts: Roslyn Pharmacy.
