Wealth? Fame? Or Relationships?

A recent Harvard study on Happiness and Health has proven that it’s the strengths of one’s relationships (Family, Friends and Community) that is the single most significant determinant of future health. We believe that belonging in a strong community that supports and helps each other is a key to building these relationships. And that’s why we believe you need to pop in and meet your local Pharmacist.

At Roslyn Pharmacy we are proud to support our community — we love to help our local schools, local church groups and sporting clubs (Go Kaikorai Rugby and Roslyn-Wakari Football this season!). It’s hugely important for everyone to support these groups and clubs and get involved! I recently attended an open forum about the future of Pharmacy, and was mortified when several members of the public had no idea who their local Pharmacist was. These Patients are missing out! It’s hugely important to meet your Pharmacist, no matter which Pharmacy you go to. At Roslyn, it’s Andrew — we play a vital role in our Community and its Health.

Speaking of Community Health — the Flu vaccine is now available at Roslyn Pharmacy — it’s so important that we get as many people as possible vaccinated to protect the more frail amongst us (and ourselves!). Come in store now to discuss why we feel this is so important.
